Here’s what I learned at First Trinity yesterday:
- I don’t have to know the whole Bible to tell someone what I believe–or why Christmas matters. One verse (Romans 6:23) tells the story: wages/sin/death BUT gift/God/life! Thanks, Pastor Chuck.
- Seeing God’s Word through the eyes of children touches my heart, too. When I asked the kids at 8:45 children’s message what was wrong about our world, one little boy referenced the shooting at the mall in Omaha last week. Sigh. I don’t want our kids to know about that kind of evil. This world needs Jesus.
- Potatoes tossed with a little olive oil and Montreal steak seasoning in a single layer in a hot oven (say 425 degrees) are delicious–ESPECIALLY with a Chiavetta’s chicken fresh off the grill!!!! Thanks, Dan Gietz.
- Jaime Christ has the coolest t-shirt, ever .
She got it at Cafe Press. She is a bright light in Haiti missions. - The Buffalo Bills are in the play-off hunt!! (I was at church during the game…Jason followed it on nfl.com).
