We are gearing up for a new quarter of Sunday morning Adult Growth Classes, starting this Sunday, January 6. Discover First Trinity is class being taught be Kathy Gibson. It’s the class to take if you’re considering membership at First Trinity or if you’re a member and would like a refresher course in what we believe.

I had a chance to talk with Kathy about the class and why she is part of it.

The Change: Why do you like teaching Discover First Trinity?

Kathy: I love introducing people to the mission here and sharing His Word as we apply it to our lives. And also, I learn so much, too!

The Change: What do you want people to know about the class?
Kathy: It’s not just new people that come. It’s more than a refresher course, too, because of the interaction with others. Each class is different because of the people who are there.

The Change: What’s the focus of the class?

Kathy: We look at many different topics, including the Sacraments (with a special guest appearance by Pastor Chuck), spiritual gifts, worship and more. We use the Bible to explore them and there’s lots of time for small group discussion and questions.
