The Jesus Painter Event at First Trinity on Friday night simply overwhelmed me with joy:
- Watching Mike Lewis create four paintings that depict Jesus in such an intimate way
- The music that perfectly accompanied the visual artwork
- Jason’s Gospel message story-weaving
- Remembering Mike Hangen, who’s memorials helped to pay for this event
- 70 kids in the building for the 30 Hour Famine who served in Jesus’ name throughout Western New York on Saturday
- The team, led by Ilene Polley, that put the whole thing together: stage up, stage down, ticket sales, ushers, and more…
- A church chock-full of people to experience the message
It all feels extravagant to me. Wonderful, wild, God-given extravagance. He is so gracious to us!
