One of the things I love about teaching is that I learn so much when I do it! In yesterday’s “Be Still” class (10:00am up in Mercy, if you’re interested), one of the guys in the video (I think it was Calvin Miller) had this to say:

Satan pushes and condemns, but God draws and encourages.

That really sticks with me…it is not that God is not interested in changing me. He is all about transforming my life! The difference between God and Satan (one of them) is that Satan tries to change me by pushing and condemning me. God draws me to Himself and encourages me with His love. That’s why it’s so important that I spend time with Him and His Word so that I am changed by G.R.A.C.E.
