I am grateful to God and happy to announce that we have a Kingdom Quest Leadership Team in place!!! Kingdom Quest is our (school year) Sunday Morning programming for children in Preschool – 5th grade (we also have the Tiny Kingdom for infants-twos). Cathy Mongielo (the new director of Kingdom Quest) informed me earlier tonight that we are good to go with an awesome team:
- Director: Cathy Mongielo
- Welcome Team Leader: Pam Jones
- Shepherd’s Coach: Lauren Vance
- Supply Team Leader: Christine Hartnett
- Large Group Team Leader: Kristina Beras
This is cool on several levels:
- Fun to have a good mix of ages on the team
- We spent the last year operating without a Large Group Team Leader, so it’s awesome to have that position filled (Kristina decided to take that on after taking the Servant Leadership course this Spring)
- It’s a chance to stand on the strong shoulders of Kingdom Quest leaders who were the “founders” of KQ five years ago. We keep growing and following the Spirit!
Join me in praying for this great team as they make plans to serve kids and families and help them know Jesus and live a life that shows it!

Great combination of talents and experiences, too. In addition, that happens to be a group that will make leadership meetings very fun.
Kristina will be awesome… especially since she has the experience of what exactly happens in large group.
And woohoo Sue… so great to see the servant leadership stuff in action.
